If you happen to be here to “change your body composition” or “work on your aesthetic”, that doesn’t mean that you don’t love yourself. Eat to FEEL good. Eat to fulfil your soul and nourish your body. Listen to it. Listen for hunger vs. boredom, but if you do eat out of boredom too (because you’re only human) please don’t beat yourself up about it. Whatever you do, for the love of cake, please enjoy your food, do not resent it and do not restrict yourself to any one food. It’s not “bad” or “good” or “right” or “wrong”. It’s food and it’s there to be enjoyed and loved and used for energy. So do not deprive it. Managing your intake or having boundaries is not a restriction. I can restrain myself from buying £300 worth of clothes in Zara each week because it won’t help me save for a house, and I can also restrain from eating pizza every day because it won’t help me achieve my goals. If I never get either, I’ll be alright. If you never get either, you will be alright too.
